FSOS graduate student seeks parents for research project

Janette Driscoll, a graduate student in Family Social Science, seeks participants for a study on parenting.

Driscoll is examining how parents support their child's autonomy, and what tools or resources about autonomy would be useful to parents.

She is seeking parents of children between the ages of 10 to 14 who are living with this child at least half the time, and are able to communicate in English.

Study activities include a Demographics survey that will take about ten minutes and participation in a Focus group via Zoom for approximately one hour.

Participants will receive $20 for their time. Contact Driscoll at drisc262@umn.edu or scan the QR code or follow the z-link: z.umn.edu/autonomy.
