Jodi Dworkin receives President’s Award for Outstanding Service
Jodi Dworkin, professor and extension specialist, is a recipient of a 2024 President’s Award for Outstanding Service.
The University award recognizes faculty and staff who have provided exceptional service to the University, its schools, colleges, departments, and service units. This service goes well beyond the regular duties of a faculty or staff member and demonstrates unusual commitment to the University community.
Dworkin’s research and outreach focuses on promoting positive family development, parenting adolescents and college students, and the role of technology in these relationships. A critical piece of her work is developing research-based outreach services to promote positive family development.
The UMN Board of Regents will present the award to Dworkin at its May 10 meeting. A reception honoring Dworkin and other award recipients will take place Monday, June 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Weisman Art Museum.
