FSOS graduate students’ research to be published

Malina Her, FSOS doctoral candidate and Cahya Yunizar, FSOS graduate student, have collaborated with Zha Blong Xiong, FSOS associate professor, to co-author a paper exploring Hmong families. Their paper, “Parental involvement with children’s schooling: Exploring the experiences of Hmong parents in charter schools,” twill be published in the School Community Journal.  In addition, Her is first author on a second paper with Dr. Xiong. Their collaboration, “Self-reported reasons for divorce, social support, and depression: An exploratory study with Hmong women,” will be published in the Journal of Family Issues.
